We feel sorry to hear that all your stay was bad because of this inconvenient. It is a very common rule in the hospitality service to charge damages when it can't be fixed, and Masaya never want to charge unless there is no other option. After talking to you, we made the discount of 60,000 COP instead of the real value of the sheets which was 180,000 COP (sheets and pillows). Considering this, we can not use them anymore (our cleaning standard forbid us to re-use a not totally white sheet), and it is considered as damaged. We tried to clean all the sheets twice but unfortunately we didn't manage to get it back white. About the laundry problem, as I personally told you, we totally understand it was not your fault since your child was sick. I got a super dry omelette, burned toasts and about a spoonful of jam for the whole thing… when I asked for more he told me no. However there was no buffet, only a rude man who told me that he conveniently was out of everything on the menu. I paid 36.000 COP (about 10$) for a ‘buffet’ breakfast.

All the rooms are stuffy, NO WINDOWS in any of them and the AC only works after some time. Still no windows tho (and that was the ‘nicest room’).
The night receptionist was kind and he upgraded me to a slightly nicer room cause he could see I was sick (from the bus). WiFi is free, and this hostel also features 2 outdoor pools and a restaurant. Second, when I arrived at the hostel, I was showed to a stuffy room with a terrible smell, no windows and very VERY hot. I’ll start with the only 2 positives: the cute view from the top of the hotel and the nice reception staff… other than that this hostel is a scam and quite dangerous too.
